• Warsaw Dialogue for Democracy



  • The Warsaw Dialogue for Democracy is an annual conference organized since 2012 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland in cooperation with various partners such as the Institute of National Remembrance, the European Endowment for Democracy, the Community of Democracies and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights. It is a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences in the area of consolidating democracy, strengthening democratic institutions, enhancing civil society and upholding human rights.

    The participants and panelists of the conference represent various parts of the world, including the Eastern and Southern neighborhoods of the European Union, Latin America, Africa and Asia. Among them were such personalities as Ales Bialiatski, Refat Chubarov, Shirin Ebadi, Tawakkul Karman and Garry Kasparov.
