    MFA Undersecretary of State Bartosz Cichocki took part in the Opportunity Ukraine conference in London .The conference, organised jointly by the British and Ukrainian governments, was devoted to reforms in Ukraine.


    “Poland actively supports Ukraine’s European choice and aspirations and is an advocate of its interests in the European Union,” Deputy Minister Cichocki underscored in his address. “Ukraine is a priority for Polish development aid. We are working together with the government of Volodymyr Groysman on key aspects of the local government and educational reform,” he added.


    MFA deputy head met with Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and MFA head of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Canada’s Foreign Minister Christya Freeland, as well as with representatives of EU, NATO, and G7 states. The situation in eastern Ukraine and the prospects for reintegrating Donbas were discussed during the meeting.


    The conference’s final communique noted the progress achieved in implementing an ambitious reform project and stressed the attending states’ full support for the continuation of the reforms.
