On 17 April, the Polish Embassy in London hosted the first edition of the British-Polish Business Insights Lunch organised by the Polish Business Link in partnership with the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce.

The event saw a panel discussion about Brexit and its effects on Polish and British businesses with Edelman Brexit analyst Paweł Świdlicki and Polish Press Agency correspondent Jakub Krupa.

During his speech, Ambassador Arkady Rzegocki said: “In our understanding it is very useful to bring Poles together to get to know one another, to share ideas, and in particular those who are involved in all sorts of economic endeavours here in London but also all over Great Britain. It is particularly important as we are living here and now in a very unique political and economic situation. (…) Brexit has been with us for over two years now and the time of prolonged uncertainty is not an easy time for companies and businesspeople.”

British-Polish Business Insights Lunch was established for entrepreneurs looking to exchange views and opinions about business relations in the UK and Poland and is an opportunity for business owners and senior management to connect with influencers in the British-Polish business community.
