Poland expresses its concern over the decision of the Belgian authorities to issue a Schengen entry visa to Lyudmyla Kozlovska, who is registered in the Schengen Information System.

The decision of the Belgian authorities poses a threat to the Schengen zone’s security.

In the present situation, the position of the Polish Government has been communicated to Belgium’s Ambassador, who has been summoned to the MFA today by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Papierz.

The Polish authorities sustain their decision to declare Ukrainian citizen Lyudmyla Kozlovska persona non grata in the European Union territory. The decision was taken based on the Internal Security Agency’s request following the information obtained by the Agency on Lyudmyla Kozlovska’a activities and connections, and based on conclusions, which can be drawn from the analysis of unclear funding sources of the Open Dialogue Foundation which is run by Mrs. Kozlovska.
