On 19 September, MFA Undersecretary of State Henryka Mościcka – Dendys presented diplomas to participants of the 2nd edition of workshops that were held as part of the Visegrad School of Political Studies. Co-funded by the MFA, the project is organized under the aegis and with the support of the Council of Europe and the International Visegrad Fund.

The aim of the Visegrad School of Political Studies Meets Eastern Partnership programme is to get young social and political leaders from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary to exchange their experiences of systemic transformation with their counterparts from Eastern Partnership countries. The exchange of experiences is part of the Council of Europe’s network of political studies.

The school’s new format accommodates the expectations of over 3,000 members of the Council of Europe’s six Schools of Political Studies  from the Eastern Partnership countries that wanted to  exchange information with schools from EU member states. The programme’s success is borne out by the large turnout of participants from the Eastern Partnership countries, and their age (28-38 year-olds). The workshops were attended by civil servants from government administration, leaders of political parties, and journalists.
