Take a picture with a white-and-red flag, or at a place that can be associated with Poland. Upload the picture to social media with the hashtag #MyPolska on 11 November, the National Independence Day, and celebrate the 98th anniversary of Poland’s regained independence!

Everyone anywhere in the world can take part in the #MyPolska campaign. All you need is a camera or a smartphone, a national prop, or a place associated with Poland. Once you have taken your independence selfie, upload it to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with #MyPolska.

The idea behind the #MyPolska campaign

Show your Poland, no matter what part of the world you are in: on Mount Kosciuszko in Australia or at the Tadeusz Kosciuszko Memorial in front of the White House in Washington D.C. Take a selfie with the Polish flag painted on your cheek on Józef Bem Street in Warsaw, or at the Statute of Józef Bem in Budapest. The list of places and symbols is open and your initiative counts. Then upload the photo to social media with #MyPolska.

You can show a picture of yourself in the company of family or friends. Invite your friends from outside Poland to join in the campaign and enjoy independence day.

The #MyPolska campaign was inspired by the Polish Embassy in London. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Polish diplomats urge you to proudly and joyfully celebrate the anniversary of regaining independence.
