  • THE INSTITUTE OF EAST-CENTRAL EUROPE

  • The Institute of East-Central Europe was established in 1991 and has been operating as an R&D centre associated with the Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2001.

     

    It is headquartered in Lublin, the biggest city in eastern Poland, and its staff is mainly composed of academics and graduates of the local universities.

     

    In its research, the Institute of East-Central Europe intends to underline the significance of processes which shape the identity and culture of East-Central Europe. It also analyses the current political, cultural and social events taking part in this region of Europe.
