  • PGE National Stadium

The PGE National Stadium is a symbol of modern and dynamically changing Poland. Construction of the new arena in the place of the 10th Anniversary Stadium were commenced in 2008. The new stadium was officially opened on 29 January 2012.

The National Stadium is much more than a sports facility, it is to one of the most modern multifunctional arenas in the world. Over the last four years, the arena has become a significant venue for entertainment, business, culture and education. It is here that Poland’s most important and prestigious events are held. Among them were:  the European Football Championship EURO 2012, the inaugural match of the Volleyball World Championship 2014, the largest Science Picnic on the Old Continent, or the annual meeting of the Council of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, an event of paramount importance for the global economy.

We are confident that the NATO Summit at the National Stadium, which will be attended by 28 leaders of the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance, will be remembered not only for its constructive and informed political debate, but also owing to the exceptionally high level of organisation.
