Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski is to attend an informal meeting of OSCE Foreign Ministers in the Kazakh city of Almaty on 16-17 July 2010. The meeting is organized by Kazakhstan, a country this year holding the OSCE Presidency.

The meeting is to address the future of European Security against the background of the “Corfu Process”, including the OSCE’s role in conflict prevention and resolution, human rights and fundamental freedoms as well as enhancing the OSCE efficacy and collaboration with other international organizations. The Ministers will also discuss possible topics for an OSCE Summit.

While in Almaty, Minister Sikorski will attend bilateral meetings with Foreign Ministers: Azerbaijan’s Elmar Mammadyarov and Kazakhstan’s Kanat Saudabayev.
