  • A ceremony on 22 of December 2015 marked the 25th anniversary of handing over the Polish Insignia of presidential power of the Second Republic

As a part of the celebrations, the Presidential Palace in Warsaw was illuminated with visual representation of the Presidential Pennant. The Pennant, inspired by Presidential Banner from 1927, was first used in 2005 during commemoration of Third of May National Day at the Piłsudski Square in Warsaw.

In April 2010, the Pennant covered the coffins of presidents Lech Kaczynski and Ryszard Kaczorowski laying in state after both perished in the crash of presidential plane near the city of Smoleńsk.
