Polish-US cooperation and contemporary challenges to Euro-Atlantic security were the topics of today’s meeting between Minister Witold Waszczykowski and US Ambassador Paul Jones.

The MFA chief and the US Ambassador met to discuss the decisions taken by President Donald Trump during his first week in office. Much of their talk also focused on US foreign policy directions, specifically in regard to Eastern policy, and on plans to further deploy US troops in Poland and on the Alliance’s eastern flank in line with NATO’s Warsaw Summit decisions.

Minister Waszczykowski presented Poland’s viewpoint on the development of transatlantic relations to Ambassador Jones and they discussed the prospects for developing bilateral relations during Donald Trump’s presidency.
