During his visit to Washington, D.C., Minister Witold Waszczykowski took part in the Meeting of the Ministers of the Global Coalition on the Defeat of ISIS and in the meeting of the Small Group of countries most actively involved in the Coalition’s operations.
Poland supports Ukraine’s European aspirations and the peaceful resolution of the conflict, stressed Minister Witold Waszczykowski at a press conference with the chief of Ukrainian MFA Pavlo Klimkin who is paying a visit to Warsaw.
When the erstwhile NATO Secretary General Manfred Wörner visited Poland in March 1992 and declared that "the door to NATO is open," accession to NATO became one of Poland’s most important political and strategic objectives.
