On 2 July, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, met with members of the MFA Football Team, which achieved 1st place in the XIII Central European Cup contested between diplomats from Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. The tournament was held on 29-30 May in Prague.

        On the way to the final, which was played with Slovakia (1:0), the Polish MFA team beat the hosts (2:1) and the Austrian team (4:0), which eventually took 3rd place in the competition.
