The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Radosław Sikorski, visited Sweden on June 10-11 2009.
In Stockholm, Sikorski met Sweden’s Minister for European Affairs, Cecilia Malmström, for talks on the priorities of the Swedish presidency of the EU Council (2nd half of 2009) and current issues on the EU agenda.
R. Sikorski also met with the Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carl Bildt, and took part in an informal dinner with the participation of the foreign ministers of Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Holland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.
The Polish foreign minister also was received by King Carl XVI Gustaf.
The visit coincides with the 90th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Poland and Sweden.
