On 6th June 2008, an article entitled “X-Men mutant survives the Holocaust in new Marvel Comics miniseries” appeared on the website of the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz English Edition. The article contained the inaccurate phrase, “Polish extermination camp in Sobibor”.       

        Following the Polish Embassy’s intervention, the editor of the Haaretz website immediately changed the article’s content, replacing the erroneous phrase with “Nazi extermination camp Sobibor”.
