In connection with the erroneous phrase “the Polish camp”, which appeared in the article “George Bush admits US Auschwitz terror”, published in the internet issue of the “Daily Telegraph”, the Polish Ambassador in London, Mrs Barbara Tuge – Erecińska, wrote a letter to the editor demanding an immediate correction of this false information. The publisher, however, refused to place the appropriate correction. In view of this, the embassy contacted a UK law office in order to prepare a complaint letter to the Press Complaints Commission (the UK equivalent of the Media Ethics Council). The letter was delivered to the Commission on 9 June. The case is ongoing.
