On 15-16 December the 6th edition of European Development Days will be held in Warsaw. For the first time ever the conference is organized in Central and Eastern Europe.
European Development Days are co-organized by the Polish Presidency and the European Commission.
The main topic of this edition of EDD is development and democracy—themes particularly current in light of the recent developments in Belarus, North Africa, Syria and the Sudan.
The agenda of the European Development Days comprises panel discussions on, among other things, the exchange of political transformation experience, promotion of democracy, private sector involvement in development cooperation as well as the efficacy and cohesion of development policy.
The conference will be held at the Copernicus Science Centre and attract around 1000 experts, heads of state and government, ministers as well as Noble Peace Prize winners.
