On June 21 the stadium of the Military University of Technology (WAT) in Warsaw was the venue of a picnic for diplomats and their families. The event, organized by Diplomatic Protocol of the MFA, was attended by over 1500 persons, including MFA staff and representatives of more than 30 diplomatic missions.
The main attraction was a football match between teams fielded by the MFA and the “Rest of the World”. Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski played for the MFA squad wearing jersey number 9. The MFA defeated the diplomatic corps 3 to 1.
