The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is pleased to report that the Polish Aviation Works PZL Mielec plc is to manufacture twelve Black Hawk helicopters for Brunei Darussalam. A contact for the supply of the helicopters was signed by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been supportive of efforts to conclude the contract through Minister Radosław Sikorski’s personal commitment as well as through diplomatic support of the Polish Embassy in Malaysia. This is going to be another export contract of PZL Mielec, the Polish subsidiary of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. The implementation of the contract is a positive impulse to the development of cooperation between Poland, the US and Brunei Darussalam.
