Austrian “Vormagazin” monthly, issue 2/08, published an article titled “Power over someone else’s life”, which included the following sentence:”The play by Alberto Moravia, an ancient tragedy of Oedipus, is to be set in 1944, in a Polish concentration camp”.

        Reacting to the phrase “Polish concentration camp”, the Polish embassy in Vienna sent a letter on 13.02 to the editor in chief of “Vormagazin” (Astrid Weigelt) which included a request to publish an appropriate correction. The editor’s office replied by sending the wording of the correction to be published in the March issue of "Vormagazin" (issue 3/08).

        The correction will inform that "the play by Alberto Moravia, an ancient tragedy of Oedipus, is to be set in 1944, in a Nazi-Germany concentration camp (not a “Polish concentration camp” as it was incorrectly formulated in the previous issue).
